Re-AOL

Reverse-Engineered AOL (RE-AOL) is a project aimed to bring back and return the original AOL and support for it's older clients. It's community is full of determined reverse engineers and programmers that aim to bring back the classic experience both for modern systems and older devices.

Not only is the community focused on the client and server software itself, but documenting all of it's file formats and protocols, and many of it's user developed programs (known as 'proggies').

The RE-AOL project mostly converses on their Discord, but efforts are being discussed to create a Wiki.
